Featherston Print now available
I’m very pleased to have finished this painting of Featherston as it completes the collection of the 5 main Wairarapa towns. The painting was a commission for a client who works closely with the community and is sensitive to the history of the town, in particular the importance of the ANZAC focus. Commuters from the Southern end of the region travel to Featherston to catch the train into Wellington, which is why we have the Kiwi Rail train and the station. I love the different colour palette of this pieces which just ‘happened’. Photos of the ranges were taken in March 2020.
