Painted for my 2004 Wellington series this was an original that I found hard to part with. The affection I have for the image is found in the title. I put in all the places I love, leaning back on warm childhood memories and family history. I compare this work with my latest 2013 image of Wellington, and though the My Wellington was painted 9 years ago, I find I still love it. It has a simple charm and elegance.
